Marilla: make critical hits sustain her damage cycle

Role and conditions

Marilla combines ranged single-target attacks with Dark Gambit area damage. Its individual hits require critical hits to grant their corresponding self buffs. Crowning Salvo benefits from debuffs already on its target; Marilla does not apply those debuffs herself.

Give her time to finish Dark Gambit, then use Monarch Tempo to extend the buffs. Humble the Mighty gains its extra damage against a target above its HP threshold, so it is not simply a low-HP finisher. A random ultimate target makes setup less predictable among several enemies.

What to improve first

Choose the next skill for the missing part of the cycle: Dark Gambit for effective self buffs, Monarch Tempo when they expire too early, or the ultimate when the team can maintain debuffs. If she dies before her first important skill, improve protection before spending for extra damage. Finished combos also matter to ultimate mana.

Stats and equipment

Prioritise ATK and critical rate, then critical damage once critical hits are consistent. Start with 5 Crit Rate + 3 Attack, or replace the three Attack pieces with Health if she dies early. Compare 5 Attack + 3 Crit Rate only when other sources provide enough critical rate.

ATK% shoulders, chest, belt and boots are initial damage options; critical-rate gloves can later become critical-damage gloves. Recovery, mana or HP can solve a specific failure. Nocturna accessories include an ATK+ amulet, HP+ earrings and an ATK%, critical-rate or critical-damage banner. Her own kit does not make ACC a priority.

Titans and limitations

Amprix provides a bound ATK bonus; Radlath provides Skill SPD. Skill SPD is a rating, not the same percentage increase and not cooldown recovery. Both are Nocturna. Teammates still need to supply protection, healing if required and relevant debuffs. Marilla has no healing, revival or enemy-buff removal in the reviewed kit. Gear observations from other accounts do not prove a universally optimal build.
